Welcome to the
Solar-B Educators Resource!

Goals: The Solar-B mission has created this resource to introduce you to solar flares, why we need to understand them, and how they can be used to enrich and extend space science and math education.

Educators: Our classroom-tested resources are designed by scientists and educators to insure their accuracy and relevance to authentic classroom learning goals. These resources are are designed as supplementary classroom enrichment activities in math, science, technology and reading. To learn more about the specific, targeted goals for our resources, visit our Benchmark Standards Matrix.

Students: Our resources present science as a tapestry of skills in communication, critical thinking, and computer literacy. Through our online library of biographies, students will also see how childhood dreams of exploration were turned into the satisfying and exciting reality of actual adult careers.
