set of links to web-based resources that discuss Space Weather in
detail, at a variety of levels of detail and rigor.
Space Weather
Journal - This is a new research journal supported by the
American Geophysical Union, published quarterly, it contains
dozens of articles by professional space weather
researchers.
SolarStorms.Org - This is a detailed
discussion of the human impacts of space weather, including
satellites, power grids and radiation exposure. It features up to
date research articles, popularized summaries of the major
impacts, and a complete archive of newspaper articles of past
solar storms since 1840.
SpaceWeather.com - This site contains
news and information about the Sun-Earth environment and details current
space weather conditions. Also included on the site are discussions of
planets, meteor showers, the location of Near Earth Asteroids, and other space
topics of current interest.
NASA
Lithograph Set - NASA's Sun-Earth Connection Education Forum
produced a series of 10 lithographs that describe the
cradle-to-grave evolution of a solar storm suitable for K-12
teachers and the general public.
